In it's finest form, abstract art is like Rochet's Ink Blots--that is anyone can see anything in it if they only use their imagination. When I feel like I am getting too hidebound in my art, I do an abstract because it stretches my mind. The remarkable thing, is that other people sometimes point out stuff in my abstracts that I didn't realize was there!
