We mourn the loss of Pinedale Library as an exhibit center. Sadly, we were forced to discontinue exhibiting at that facility because it has no art hanging system. It would be really nice if some civic minded person with deep pockets donated an art hanging system to all the libraries. Then all of the library patrons could enjoy the wonderful art done by local artists.

Fine Art Photography (industry standards apply) and Original Digital photography (art that began as a photograph taken by the artist and altered by the artist). No more than 4 photographs per artist.

This is a public display so no graphic sex or violence in subject matter or will be accepted. This exhibit is reachable by the library patrons, so it is suggested that smaller photographs be avoided.

Framing requirements: Sunnyside Library has a hanging system so all work must be hung with wire; ends must be taped or sleeved. No quick frames, screw eyes or saw-tooth hangers accepted. Due to weight requirements, photographs over 30” on one side must be framed using plexi-glass not glass.

  • Photographs must be signed in with the following information: Your name, address, phone number, title of art and the value. Please label your art on the back with the same information. Prices may not be posted in Library facilities. But Cards will be furnished for you to fill out with your contact information.
  • The Artist is responsible for picking up art at the end of the show. Storage is not an option. If you can’t pick up your own work on the date specified, please make other arrangements to do so.
  • Art is hung in the Library at your own risk. The Library and Art-Tique are not responsible for damage or loss of your Photographs.

There is no entry fee, but a donation to assist with the cost of printing the catalog and information cards placed with each Photograph would be appreciated.

We will be hanging as we go, so it would be appreciated if you can stay and help.
